I am running Windows 7 and I can get Code Composer 4 to work just fine, however I cannot seem to get any drivers for the MSP-FET USB JTAG pod to install. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi,
here's a link to the MSP430 Wiki - FAQ section fpr CCS4.0 : http://wiki.msp430.com/index.php/FAQ_-_CCSv4#Q:_Will_CCSv4_support_Linux_PCs.3F__Windows_7.3F
It says that CCS 4.1 will support Windows 7. Maybe that's the reason why the MSP-FET will not work.

are you running a 64-bit version of the OS? i'm pretty sure that this is your problem. if so, you'll need to use the compatible 64-bit driver for the FET. you can find a version on the wiki: http://wiki.msp430.com/index.php/MSP430_JTAG_Interface_USB_Driver#64-bit_Drivers
your problem probably has nothing to do with CCS or windows 7 specifically.
hi,
i have the same problem with you.
i'm downloading the file for win 7-64 from this page
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/MSP430_JTAG_Interface_USB_Driver#64-bit_Drivers
but i cannot extract the rar file. have you any idea?
thanks in advance
Hi Panagiotis,
you can use 7-zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) for accessing .rar files.
