external power supply

Does the msp430fg4618 experimenters board have a place to put an external power supply?

I want to use a 5v power supply to power the board.

If so, which pin is it?

I'm looking at the schematic, but I can't find it. I'm pretty sure it has one though

You cannot apply 5V. It would fry the board as there is no regulator on the board for regulating it down to the maximum allowed 3.6V.

For external power, there is the BATT connector. It is meant for 3V.
