How will you celebrate 4/30 Day?

I would love to celebrate with a new 430 tool if the link would only work! The link sent to me in my email sends me to an endlessly loading blank page, but the one you've provided above works fine. I'll go see what sort of goodies you have.

I would also like to celebrate by reading more posts on the CCS v4 Community forum. It's been silent out there for a while; last post was 4/10. Maybe I'll go stir things up a bit.

I just tried that 430ROCKS discount code on a MSP430 Solar Energy Harvester Development Tool and got:

"Your order does not contain qualifying products for this coupon"

I also tried it with MSP430 Wireless Development Tool (AEC13895U) and got the same responce. What constitues a qualifying product?

Yes, it applies.  Please try again - there was an issue with the code but it is working again.  So sorry!

I tried to apply the code 430Rocks to my shoppingcart with one EZ430-RF2500 but I get the error:

Now to answere the original question, I'm just going to sit here for about an hour with this stupid grin on my face because I just ordered the MSP430 Solar Energy Harvester Development Tool, and then I'm going to get started on the code for my next project.[:D]

Yeah, I get that or some gibberish error page when I click on the EZ430-RF2500 page.  Seems random.  Good promotion, not so good execution. 

I will put on my hiking boots, and take my Microchip REAL ICE programmer into the parking lot and have a little dance on top of it.

I'm so sorry for all this confusion!  I've double checked the code and the EZ430-RF2500 is valid.  If it still doesn't work, please call the Product Information Center and they can place an order and apply the discount: 972-644-5580.  

I will work on my project the whole day and during my breaks I will figure out if we can use our friendly micro-controller in an application against the swine flu to help the CDC guys. Everything is possible if you know how to define the problem you wanna solve don't you think?

This is such an awesome discount, 50% for one item. I jumped up with joy when I saw it.

Unfortunately, the e-store doesn't work: I kept trying since this morning the e-store and keep getting errors: Unable to authorize payment: Error reading from 'https://www.ti-estore.com/auth.asp': Invalid HTTP response

And calling in is not a solution either. Because I called and to my surprize I was told that shipping for orders placed by phone is over $20! When normally in the e-store it is a bit over $5.I'll keep trying the online store, maybe it'll work sometime later.

I've been trying all day to use the site, have been incrementally progressing, but now am getting the same message "nordica" mentioned:

"Unable to authorize payment: Error reading from 'https://www.ti-estore.com/auth.asp': Invalid HTTP response"  I have tried using firefox, IE and different credit cards to no avail. This has been a very frustrating exercise, not to mention my concern that I am going to get c.c bills for each attempt!

Maybe it's part of the 4/30 day activity....Every 30 people place "430Rocks" discounted order, only 4 will success!

The toll free number you just mentioned is the one I called earlier to place the order and I was told the shipping is $20+ and all I can do is place the order with this high shipping cost and then apply for a refund. Oh well...

Wow, this is an awesome discount.  The cynic in me rolled my eyes when I got the email because I figured it would be something insignificant like 10%, looks like TI proved me wrong. 

I'll be celebrating by ordering an eZ430-RF2480 kit.  I already have 1 kit and have been working with it for about 4 months and I'm making good progress.  I don't need another kit, but at half price why not?  After all, 2 kits = 6 nodes.

Unfortunately, I just tried to order and got "Unable to authorize payment: Error reading from https://www.ti-estore.com/auth.asp: Invalid HTTP response".  I tried two different cards, and both IE and Firefox and got the same error.  Unfortunately the phone order line is now closed for the night.  Bummer.
