After using the MSP430Flasher.exe the LaunchPad Reset-Button doesn't work until the USB connector is removed and put back again.
This is with all commands I used, one example here:
MSP430Flasher.exe -n MSP430G2553 -r [Info.txt,INFO] -z [VCC]
After this command VCC is on, but the Reset-Button does not reset the microprocessor.
Is there any possibility to get the Reset-Button working without pulling the USB plug?
I think there is a bug in MSP430Flasher (other PC software for MSP430 may have the same problem too). It left the F1611 driving the G2xxx TEST pin high when it exits. As a result, G2xxs nRST does not work.
3 alternative workarounds: (a) Recycle power or Reset F161, (b) Pull the TEST jumper out, (c) Fix MSP430Flasher.
Thanks a lot!
In my opinion you are right about a bug in MSP430Flasher - the Elpotronic "Lite FET-Pro430" has the same problem, but there is an additional Reset-Button which makes the LaunchPad Reset-Button working again after clicking on it.
Are there any possibilities to fix the MSP430Flasher?
Would be a good idea to have a Reset function with the MSP430Flasher.
