Regarding TI ADS 5481 Analog-to-Digital Converter, does TI have a microcontroller with this device embedded? If not, is there a microcontroller to which it can be easily interfaced? Can it be directly interfaced to memory without a microcontroller? Finally, it appears that this chip only accepts 1 analog input. Does TI have other ADCs with comparable sampling rates (50 KSPS) and resolution (16 bit) in combination with multiple ADC inputs?

Perhaps I'm not looking at the right part number, but the ADS5481 is a 16-bit ADC which supports 80MSamples per second.
No, TI does not have a processor with an ADC like that integrated.

However, what confuses me is your request for other possible ADCs with 50 KSPS. Do you need 80 mega-samples per second, or 50 kilo-samples per second?

If 16-bit, 50KSPS, yes, we have ADCs that meet those requirements, including multiple inputs.
