Hi, I have programmed the EEPROM of FT232RL..I want to send data via FTDI chip to the MSP430 microcontroller. Is it possible?(without the use of any emulator?)...

Is there any alternative chip which converts USB to serial and transfers data into microcontroller?

I use the ft232R with the msp430f2274/fg4619 without problems. Check the datasheet, you'll see the application circuit.

Yes, there is a designed msp pcb board(not the one from ti) where ft232rl, dip socket, etc. are soldered. The board is not working.

is txd of ft232 connected to txd of microcontroller? that is logically incorrect

is incorrect. Please check the ft232r datasheet. The connection is:

Rx(MSP430)--->>TX(FT232)

TX(MSP430)---->>RX(FT232)
