How to disable data flash overwrite at program load time with CCE?

Hello!

I would like to erase only the program memory when I download the program to the target.

I searched the help and found something about a preferences window labeled "Debug",

that has download options:

1. Erase main memory only

2. Erase main and information memory

etc...

The problem: where can I find this window? It says: here is the properties page for the MSP430

properties:

and then there is a picture of the window. No hint about how to open this window.

Can anyone tell me how to open this window?

Just in case : I am using CCE 3.1, and I found this explanation in the help menu, using Search

with the keyword "flash", and opening the 3rd match.

Within CCE, you should be able to perform the following to get to the dialog box to set the download options.

Menu Project -> Properties
Select TI Debug Settings option
Select the Target tab
Select MSP430 Properties

You will find the "Download Options".

LOL, Pascal. I get caught by that all the time. You know something is there, and then you forget to expand one of the tree items. I am still getting used to finding the debug options I want in CCE3.

Of course, Brandon's answer is right on.
