Hello,

I am new to MSP430 and I am trying to implement an IR Decoder using MSP430F2131,the details of NEC format is as below.

I am using timer in capture mode but I don't know how do I use those capture values to decode the data,

I read Appl note "Decode TV IR Remote Control Signals Using Timer_A3 "but the software is written in assembly,

can anybody show me some C examples...

Though i do not know of an example of NEC format IR code, I can say that there is some MSP430 based code on our Davinci DVEVM board that uses Phillips RC5 IR codes that may be of some help as an example here, it appears to be written in C.

Check out this code example for NEC IR decoding using MSP430 controller. This is a total solution, you just have to employ your applications on the key press, that is it.
