#pragma vector=TIMERA0_VECTOR Error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430G2553

G'Day,

Thought I would start with the  basics and compile  the "MSP-EXP430G2-LaunchPad User Experience Application"

I get a error #20: identifier "TIMERA0_VECTOR" is undefined, at the  #pragma.vector=TIMERA0_VECTOR

Where is TIMERA0_VECTOR defined.

Tks

Grant

  • Fixed it, I used the name in msp430g2553.h

    where TIMERA0_VECTOR is called  TIMER0_A0_VECTOR

    Indeed, teh samle code for the first G devices with just one TimerA used the old notation. However, the 2553 (and many others of the larger MSPs) has two of them and the header files use the newer notation.

    I wonder why this "new" notation wasn't used for the first (but still relatively young) G devices too from the beginning. :(
