Hi,

I need a DB9 male connector with large ground pin used for hot plugging...can u suggets me some part no of db9 male connector which is used for hot plugging n the ground pin should be larger than the other pins.

It's DE9 - not DB9.

I'm not aware of any designed for hot plugging...

Most of the Sub-D connectors are designed for hot-plugging, just not by an exposed GND pin. Mainly because the standard does not define a specific pin as GND pin at all.

However, the shielding (if present at all, some variants only have an unshielded body) is always connected before any pin.
