ez-Chronos display issue

Last month My ez-Chronos watch came in contact with a light drizzle, since it was advertised as water resistant/proof I did not bother much, next day there was little condensation deposited inside the dial. I opened it & cleaned it with dry cotton, but both minute digits segments a,d,e,f & g are not showing up afterwards.

I tried the cleanup procedure once more, this time even opening up the PCB & dismantling the display & under-laying rubber contacts, after assembling everything back, the problem of missing display still remained.

Does anybody else faced similar problem & have any suggestion to offer...

Regards
