I know this post is 4 years old, but I felt I'd answer for the benefit of readers who come across this question...
TI has provided a few minimalistic C-based AES implementations. Note that running AES in ECB mode just means that the ciphertext is generated as a function of only the secret key and the plaintext. In practice, ECB mode should never be used since if two plaintext blocks are the same, the corresponding ciphertext blocks will likewise be identical (which leaks quite a lot of information to malicious attackers). A much safer mode would be CBC with a random IV (initialization vector). Of course you can find more info about the various modes of operation (e.g. ECB, CBC, CTR) via a simple google search. I recommend using TI's AES GCM implementation, which includes CBC mode. You can download the source code here:
