Program MSP4305418IPN use MSP-EZ430U

I  student and am now doing a diploma (related to solar energy).
I am well acquainted with other microcontrollers (no IT). But this project I wanted to do it for a Ti for the study of this family of microcontrollers. In our country it is very difficult  to buy Ti microcontrollers, I hardly buy 430 microcontroller. I was hoping  that my existing MSP-EZ430U allow programmed microcontroller MSP43F5418IPN. Already done the PCB. I was wrong.
For programming MSP43F5418IPN  I need a programmer MSP-FET430UIF, but it costs $ 99, which for me is very expensive. (I have a bursary per 1 month $ 50).
Possible, for students wishing to to learn to work with Ti microcontrollers you give discounts on the purchase of equipment?

from which country are you exactly from? As far as i know TI does have university program www.ti.com/university, and maybe you can get the USB  FET for free.

do you need FET just to program or also to debug the code? (i guess you need also to debug the code), but in case you need it only to program the code, you can use the low-cost Launchpad to program the device using BSL: http://www.ti.com/mcu/docs/litabsmultiplefilelist.tsp?sectionId=96&tabId=1502&literatureNumber=slaa535a&docCategoryId=1&familyId=342

Yes, and I need to debug, because the device is difficult, for me a new microprocessor (which I've never used MSP430XXXXX).
