Hi,

Our customer has been using MSP430 USB Stack(CDC- com port) with MSP430F5529.
Currently we need to support the new version of Windows(8)
but it seems the Windows 8 enforces the driver signing requirement and we are not
able to install the driver properly on Windows 8.
Is there any way to support MSP430 (Virtual Com Port) on Windows 8?

Thank you...
I know we could find many solutions on Google,
but I posted here to find out if there is any TI's official and guaranteed approach to this problem.
Please let me know if you have tried this before and have a guaranteed simple procedure.

What approach? The drivers aren't released for Win8, and if you use an OS where the drivers aren't written for, you're on your own.
You cannot expect that the whole world will instantly produce individual solutions jsu tbecause Microsoft decides to release a new OS with incompatible APIs.
And you already got the solution: make the OS trying to be at least a bit backwards compatible by disabling the check for a signed driver.

In this case if we wish to get the help from a third party to Sign with WHQL
are there any recommended third parties from TI to
contact for WHQL Certification Services for MSP430?
