Are CC430F5137 and CC430F52x1 the same?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC430F5137

I have an EM430F5137RF900, the chip is CC430F5137.

But on the schematics of EM430F5137RF900, the name of the chip is CC430F52x1.

So I wonder know are CC430F5137 and CC430F52x1 the same?

Thank you!

  • If they were the same, they wouldn't have different numbers.

However, I cannot find any reference to CC430F52xx. All CC430 I can locate are 51xx or 61xx. So unless it is a typo (Which I doubt, as this would mean a typo in the part library and then the wrong part from teh library selected for the schematics) or the schematics you got are for a future version of the board, featuring a future, not yet released chip.

Looking at the existing CC430 parts, I can imagine a pin-compatible device with more ram and/or flash than the 51xx parts. But that's plain guessing. After all, when the actual chip on your board is labeled 5137, then use the 5137 datasheet to get its features. :)
