MSP563x USB debugging

We recently moved from the 5528 to the 5636.  Bringing up the board I have run
into issues with the USB.  We are using the 3.20.2 version of the TI USB stack
(tested with the a previous version, as well).

The issue I am seeing is the device/stack continuously sends a NACK  after
enumeration.  Below is a USB trace of the enumeration and NACKs.  I do not
know the details of the USB transactions we have been using the TI stack to
handle this complexity :)   Before I start digging into the details of the USB
transactions what are some additional debugging I can try?

We did not observe the same behavior on the 5528 device with the same stack
version.  Does anyone have some good suggestions on a debug path?

Regards,
Chris

Including the last summary of the trace.  Appears to be a NAK every 10us'ish.

  • An update on this issue.  The CDC data in and data out are actually working.
I am able to move data with the latest TI USB stack.  But the NACK attack
persists?  I tested this on both the 5528 and the 5636, it appears to be a
firmware/configuration issue.  Any ideas how to debug the NACK attack
    would be appreciated.
