Hi,
I'm trying to create a simple peer-to-peer communication application using two ez430-Chronos customized boards. The objective is also for them to remain in LPM3 mode when it is not communicating. However, I've questions whether the peer-to-peer connection can be sustained while the CC430 is in LPM3 mode.
I've been studying the SimpliciTI protocol and the "Simple Peer-to-Peer" + "Cascading End Devices" examples and there were mentions about turning the radio on and making it go to sleep. Unfortunately, there isn't much mentioning about the current consumption by the CC430 MCU while that occurs.
Perhaps some of you have a better understanding of power consumption during radio activities and how to implement LPM3 while using the SimpliciTI protocol. Hope you can advise as I think it'll really benefit a lot of people who are also interested in this?
Thanks in advance!
