PxSEL2 Register Settings Documentation for G2553?

I am working with the G2553 device in the Launchpad and am having trouble locating the register setting values for PxSEL2. I have found in the Family User Guide the following table which essentially says as PxSEL2 is used to enable a "secondary" peripheral module. However, nowhere can I find the description of what "secondary" peripheral is attached to the port. Not even in the datasheet (SLAS734E).

What I am looking for is something similar to the below snapshots from the C5515 DSP family that provides register configuration details for each pin on a port.

Did I miss this information in either the Family User Guide or the G2553 datasheet?

How do I choose the proper settings for PxSEL2?

    Hi Mike,

    The information is in the datasheet, but it's tucked away near the end amongst the pin schematics. If you look at page 42 of the msp430g2553 datasheet you'll see the schematic for P1.0 to p1.2. The next page is a table listing the pin functions for p1.0 to p1.2 and the corresponding values of P1SEL, P1SEL2 etc...

    Thanks Robert. I completely missed this. I guess because it is formatted so differently from most other TI products register configuration info.
