Interfacing 433mhz ask transmitter to msp430g2553

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430G2553

Hi everyone,

I want to interface 433mhz ask transmitter to msp430g2553.can any one suggest me that is it possible to interface directly with out any level conversion. Also please suggest the ideal baudrate for serial transmission of data.I am having transmitter that works with serial data.

That will depend entirely on what particular "ask transmitter" you are using - but, whatever it is, its Datasheet will tell you!

  • Thanks for ur quick rly andy.

The data sheet just mentions that it will take the data serially and transmit wirelessly on 433 mhz frequency. But on the receiver side am just getting the garbage value. I checked the transmitter using terminal sw,it is transmitting properly,n the receiver side am seeing only garbage.my baud rate for both tx and rx is 1200.Please let me know if there is a problem in the way am doing it.And also i gave separate 5v for rf module, msp 430 launchpad gnd and rf gnd is shorted.

Then you need to discard that module, and get one which is properly documented.

How can you say that the transmitter is "transmitting properly" if the receiver is "seeing only garbage" ?!
