"EEM polling thread is already active" when trying to debug

Hello,

I am trying to debug a piece of code using JTAG debugger and receives the following message, repeatedly: "EEM polling thread is already active".

I am using IAR EW 5.51.6, and Elprotronic USB-FPA FlashPro430 debugger/programmer.

I must say that I have I managed to do some debugging using a a different debugger (MSP-FET430UIF), but it was too slow for me.

Any suggestions anyone?

Apparently, IAR is somehow trying to access the FET twice. However, it's rather an IAR problem (software bug or racing condition in the debugger) than an MSP problem. SO you might get better help from IAR.

Well, I've tried but no replay yet... I thought that maybe someone here have already experienced this issue.

Indeed, many people have experienced not getting support from IAR :)

I remember seeing this error reported in a different (older, perhaps much older) thread. If you use the board search, maybe you can find something.
