Default BSL? How to work?

I'm a new to BSL Programming with MSP430F5151.

I know that It can communicate with MCU via UART with sequence entry at RST/NMI and TEST pin.

I want to write a new BSL for my MCU. But first of all, Pls show me how to test default BSL.

I've just download BSL Scripter, but It seem It's not support my MCU.

Phung,

BSL Scripter does support all MSP430F5xx/6xx, and FR5xx devices. You need a hardware interface to work with the UART BSL:

i would suggest to use either the BSL Rocket Tool, or the Launchpad UART interface (SLAA535).

I've already have a hardware connection between MCU and PC via RS232.

I tried to load some codes from SLAU319e to MCU by this connection using BSL_Scripter.

But it finished with FAIL(51) error.

At the moment, I only want load some safe codes which is sure that default BSL will be not modified.

Plse show me how?

Phung,

which hardware interface are you using?

Have you checked whether the BSL Entry Sequence is generated on RST and TEST/TCK pin?
