Hi,

I  am working with msp430 , I have relay board( 230v,5A relay  ,5v coil really connected with BC 547) , will 3.3v of  MSP430 gpio pin  will drive BC547 to switch on/off  realy ?

    Yes GPIO pin current sourcing capability is more than sufficient to open BC547 transistor. Make sure series resistor between gpio and base of transistor is in range 1k .. 470ohm and you will be fine.
