Developing my own eZ430-RF2500 PCB hardware

I would like to develop my own version of the eZ430-RF2500 hardware. I feel pretty comfortable that I can reverse engineer the electronics design, but the problem is that I don't have the code that lives on the second CPU on MSP-eZ430U part of the hardware (ie not the target board PCB, the other half that houses the USB socket). I'm guessing that this is the code that creates the Virtual COM port, which is a feature I'm currently using to communicate with a PC application that I've written.

Does anyone know if this code is available or is it TI proprietary?
