Meaning of MSP430?

Hello~

 

I am curious about meaning of MSP430.

I saw  meaning of MSP in some where.

M: Mixed

S: Signals

P: Processor

I think that  the mixed signals are Analog signals and Digital signals.

But I can't estimate meaning of 430.

    There are many theories about the meaning of 430. For example:

    430 is the area code of part of Texas State.

    430 is an untouchable number. Meaning it cannot be expressed as the sum of all the proper divisors of any positive integer.

    430 = 2 × 5 × 43, and hence a sphenic number. Meaning it is the product of three distinct prime numbers.

    430 is 420 plus 10.

    micro controller family from Texas Instruments.
