Using MSP-Gang.dll with Labview.

Hi.

I am trying to create a labview application that will be controlling a MSP-GANG Programmer through MSP-Gang.dll

So far I have been trying the functions InitCom/Set MCO Name/GetErrorString/ReleaseCom and they seem to be working but Labview constantly gives the following error message:

"An exception occurred within the external code called by a Call Library Function Node. The exception might have corrupted the LabVIEW memory. Save any work to a new location and restart LabVIEW."

I am using Labview 2012 on a Windows 7 PC - can this configuration cause a problem?

Regards

Stephan

  • I take it back - the functions do not work properly...

I can init, release, use the setup function and create and image.

But the Load Code File function is giving me big problems and I am still getting the exection error from Labview error handling.

Can you confirm that the dll should work with Labview 2012 and windows 7?

    /Stephan
