What is the accuracy of the MSP430F2132 internal temperature sensor?
Teh temperatur esensor is a silicon PTC with almost linear temperature coefficient. So accuracy is mostly determined by the ADC and its resolution.
However, offset and gain vary widely, so for best results, a full two-point calibration is required. The factory-provided calibration values arelay include the ADC reference variation and the ADC offset and gain errors. But they are still not very precise (limite settling time when doing hte calibration etc.)
Note that the sensor gives you internal die temperature, which will differ from ambient temperature depending on package thermal resistance and momentary itnernal power dissipation.
