Are there any documents or project about adding auxiliary crystal on msp430f5172 with rsb40 target board ?

    Sorry, I have no idea what you mean with 'auxiliary crystal'.

    If you talk about the XT1, then this is a standard task. Juat add the crystal, set the registers in the clock system as described in the clock module seciton of the users guide and perform the proposed testign loop for the fault bits. There are no specific projects and additional documents (maybe except for the applicaiton notes about clock crystals on MSPs (slaa423.pdf and slaa322.pdf)
