Analog Signal-MCU-Transmitter-Receiver-MCU-LCD readout

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1150, CC113L, CC110L

Hello,

I'm fairly new to designing digital electronics and am looking for some assistance in selecting an MSP430 MCU.  I want to try to use the same MSP430 unit in the transmitter and receiver circuits.  Does anyone have a suggestions as to which one would work?  If I can't use the same exact chip is there a pair that I could use the same programming board?

My concept is the following.

Collect analog signal from a sensor using an MSP430.

Transmit using CC1150 transmitter.

Receive signal using CC113L Receiver.

Process signal from Receiver using an MSP430.

Write value to LCD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Are you sure that you will never want to transmit anything _to_ sensor, like configuration changes, such as update interval? I suggest you to stick with tranceivers at both ends.

Get at least one (bettter two) msp430 LaunchPads and CC110L booster pack kit containing two transceiver boards. Kit firmware shall be good starting point for you.
