RemoTI and Chronos Access points

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REMOTI, CC2531, CC2500, CC1101, MSP430F5529

I've evaluated both the RemoTI and the CHRONOS systems. Now I'd like to start designing my own remote device but don't have time to do the PC Dongle (USB). Does anyone know of any commercially available in low quantities (~300/yr)?

Also, I'm not seeing any discussions of these devices on the RF forum. Do they have their own forums and I'm just not seeing them?

  • Hello Andy,

    First of all

    - RemoTI is available for the CC2531, which is USB capable.  You would need to develop the PC end of course.

    - The CC430 has no USB support but can be used quite will in combination with our TUSB parts

    - The new MSP430F5529 is USB capable and can be combined with chipcon radios such as the CC1101 or CC2500

This will depend on your requirements.

There is a low power wireless forum for our radios you can also check out.

    Hope this helps!
