Ultra Low Power Mode peripheral handling issue.

I am using MSP430F5419A controller & other peripherals like memory IC,qwerty key IC,Power LED etc Power is controlled by the controller using TPS79530DCQR LDO. so whenever i am before going to Low power mode i am switch off the peripherals using TPS79530DCQR enable PIN to save power but whenever i am go to low power mode still my power led is glowing with low brightness. pls suggest on this.

    To see what's wrong, your schematics is required.

    How do you 'control power'? If you switch off the supply of a peripheral, it may route some current through its I/O to its supply, as the I/O voltage then is higher as its supply voltage.

    I've seen MSP that were powered by the programming signals of the FET, while no (intentional) supply was there at all. (which is of course a forbidden and unstable condition, but not immediately lethal)
