I am recently very interested in MSP430 Flasher - Command line programmer

I wonder, is there a Linux version of this tool?

I want to read out memory from device into a file on Linux. I can do this on Windows. Is there a way under Linux/Ubuntu?

I figured out a way to use Wine to run Flasher command line on Ubuntu. So, I have a MSP430 connected through USB port on my Ubuntu. When I lsusb, I can find the device.

Bus 002 Device 012: ID 0451:f432 Texas Instruments, Inc. eZ430 Development Tool

But, when I run "wine MSP430Flasher.exe -n MSP430G2553 -r [output3.txt,RAM]", it reports that "Couldn't find any connected USB FETs!". Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Now MSP430falsher is available for Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit

Thanks for the information. I am currently using MSPDebug. Could you please tell me which one is better if I want to read out memory? Can you compare this flasher with MSPDebug?

I tried it in Ubuntu 12.04 for programming MSP430F2416 and it works fine.

I dont have a comparison information with mspdebug
