led 2 not blinking after attempting sample project 'blinking led' on code composer

i mean how can i get the default code for the initial stage so that i can boot it up again?

First you shall tell which chip you are using, which development board, if any. Also tell which "blinking led sample project" you are using.

thanks. it's MSP430G2553.. in the example project there's 'blink the led project'.. i tried that.. how can i go back to the initial stage?

MSP430G2553 microcontroller does not have any LED's on it. - You did not answer which board you are using so I am not able to tell initial stage of it. Also it's still not clear where example project "blink the led" comes from. Maybe consider showing it's source code

yes they do ..just belw the r32 and r33 resistors. .there are 2 leds.. what do you mean by which board..it is msp430g2553

The MSP430G2553 is a microcontroller. 

Presumably the development board being used is the MSP430 Launchpad (MSP-EXP430G2)?

I'm afraid you haven't provided a lot of details. Instead of relying on a fairly complex demo, I suggest you pick out some key functionality (e.g. light an LED) and write a short program so you can understand the process.
