Hello. I am a student working on a project and my team is using the msp430 ez430-rf2500. I would like to connect a LCD to the board and have it show simple ASCII strings. We are using a very common 16x2 LCD that can be seen here: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/709.
As you can seen. the LCD uses the very common HD44780 driver. I cannot seem to find any actual source to program such an LCD to the msp430 ez430-rf2500 specifically. I have found countless sources for other msp430 boards but their pin layouts are different and the source code for those boards won't work for the msp430 ez430-rf2500. If anyone can give me some advice on how to interface an LCD to this board, that would be great. Thanks.
