IAR Embedded Workbench Kickstart

Hello,

I am setting up Windows 7 Home Premium and tried to install the free IAR with no success. I have installed and used this program in the past using Win XP. They have apparently changed the licensing or something but I downloaded the program and couldn't even find the RUN button.
Could someone please help me with this.

Hi Jeff,

This sounds like an IAR installation issue, so I'm not sure how much we'll really be able to help. I did find this note on the IAR website: http://supp.iar.com/Support/?note=64346&from=search+result which suggests that you may have issues if you are trying to install an older version of IAR and recommends installing whatever is the newest one.

If you are still running into problems, I'd recommend trying to contact IAR.
