Hi all, 

 

I am doing a fast sampling rate of 2K sample per second, the RF device CC2500 have no problem in sending data from ED to AP at fast rate. However, the baud rate of 9600 seems not good enough to transfer all the date over and display on the GUI (modified the GUI of EZ430RF2500-SEH). Baud rate at 9600 have no problem. Anyone know how to increase to baud rate so as to increase the taking data rate?

There is two part of the coding I am looking into, one part is the programming of the MSP430, the other part is the code of the GUI which open the com port and set the baud rate.

    Hi Sean,

    when using the (so called) backchannel UART of the tool the baud rate is fixed to 9600. This is because the firmware of the eZ430U (the dedugger-part of the tool) is handling this second virtual COM port.

    It is not possible to increase the speed!
