NMIRS Definition

In the "Interrupts" section of the MSP430 User Guides the acronym NMIRS is used in a couple of places.

Does anybody know what NMIRS stands for? In the same section, it appears in figures showing a "block diagram of NMI Sources" and "Interrupt Priority."

Does it stand for Non-Maskable Interrupt Request? I can't find that acronym defined anywhere.

Indeed, the term NMIRS is used in some diagrams but never explained. It seems that NMIRS is an internal intermediate signal and I would agree that it stands for "Non Maskable Interrupt Request Signal" (there's also GMIRS). It's not the only internal signal that is used in a diagram and never explained, but in the other cases, the purpose is more clear.

Well, not many people ever dig that deep into the details of the MSP's inner workings. Kudos for doing it. :)
