MSP430 F2416 problem

I am trying to update an existing (tried, tested and used) code, using the USB MSPFET430UIF debug interface. Some how the device runs very very slow and does not respond to any processes. The same code works fine on my old comp, only difference being, I use Parallel port debug interface on it (MSPFET430PIF)

Though the device is MSP430F2416, the IAR work bench reads it as MSP430F2419 instead

Both the comps run on Windows XP, I am not able find the reason for this problem

Any advise and suggestions will help

Hey Yogi,

Go through each option in your IAR setting of your old pc. Make the setting on the new pc exactly the same. As I understand, you have to tell IAR what hardware you are using.

My target device is MSP430F2416, but the IAR work bench(MSP430 V4.10E) reads it as MSP430F2419 instead. I am using TI MSP-FET430UIF debugger interface.
