Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-FET
Hi,
I'm trying to use my MSP-FET430UIF under Linux (Ubuntu 14.04) and am getting this issue. The same doesn't happen under Windows Server 2012.
Both IDE's are CCSV6
"MSP430: Error initializing emulator: MSP-FET430UIF is already in use"
Any ideas why? I have done the following:
- Try a different program (Blink)
- Checked firmware is V3
- LS USB Displays device. See output below.
- Tried with MSPDEBUG linux tool. Error "usbutil: unable to find a device matching 0451:f430" When specifying the USB bus/host still fails. (UIF Driver)
Would like some help. The reason why I brought this is to use Linux if not I will go back to my launchpad and return the MSP-FET.
(Annoying having to pay more to use Linux isn't it? I only use Windows Server because I got a copy of it for free as I'm a student.)
