launchpad and booster paks needed

Hi,

What combination of booster paks and MSP430 launchpads would I need to be able to 

1) display alpha numeric LED (6 digits)

2) RF with range ~200m

Would they be able to plug in together ?

or would I need to solder/wire externally ?

I have no background with launchpad and don't want to land up buying the wrong paks/boards.

    I don’t think there is an alphanumeric display booster pack. Although the audio booster pack has an OLED that can be controlled by the MSP. The LCD booster pack is for the FR5x LaunchPad (no code for the G2 MSPs, and they likely have not enough RAM anyway).

    For RF; well, I don’t know whether one of the RF modules is compatible with the BoosterPack mount. IIRC; the older experimenters boards did have a dedicated, different connector socket for these modules. But I’m no BoosterPack and (TI) RF expert.
