SINE WAVE GENERATION USING MSP430F5529

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC5652, MSP430F1611, MSP430F5529

hello all,

i want to generate sine wave at 400Hz with DAC5652. i try many solution given in net  but not any solution works. so plz provide any solution for this. and any one plz tell me how we can enable DAC and DCOclk.

  • I'd say a DAC like the DAC5652 with 275MSPS is a bit overkill for generating a 400Hz sine wave. (actually more than a bit)
For my pig scales and BMI project, I generated a 50kHz sine wave using an MSP430F1611 with internal DAC and DMA.
However, the DAC has a parallel interface and how to use it is described in the DAC datasheet.
It's definitely not an MSP430 question, unless you want to know how to use the GPIO on the MSP. In this case I want to redirect you to the digital I/O chapter of the MSP430F5x family users guide (available form the MSP430F5529 product page)
