APIs for msp430G2553

What kind of "APIs" are you looking for?

Am looking for basic GPIO,clock,interrupt,timer,flash and ADC APIs....please help me .thank you...

I have checked in msp430ware driver lib examples,but i didnt find even a single exmple for msp430G2 with APIs...

"As of today, MSP430 Driver Library supports 5 and 6 series devices."

I am not sure when TI will expand MSP430Ware to cover the "low end" devices, but presently it does not.

For the G2 devices, there is GRACE. Not really an API but rather a graphical configuration tool.
No MSP comes with a built-in OS or something that provides an API to the hardware. Everything needed to access the hardware must be part of the code you upload. The driver library as well as GRACE only add some code to your project. Usually a convenient but not really efficient way to program an MCU (but that's just my opinion)

The 'real' API, the description of the hardware registers and how the hardware works, is found in the users guide (separate guides for each family, in your case the MSP430F2xx family), a list of all hardware modules in an MSP is found in the datasheet (the users guide covers all modules found in any of the families' devices)
