msp430F5529 USB demo example not working

Am running example program - "command line interface with LED On/Off/Flash"  on msp430F5529.Am following the Lab 10a from the workshop guid v3_21.

But when i opened the USB HID demo(java), am getting the error as-"No serial interface found for VID/PID combination(vid=2047,pid=301),please connect a board with USB on this workstation" .

please help...thank you so much..
