programing the MSP430F5438 MCU using a lanchpad

I want to program an MSP430F5438 MCU. I would like to know if this is possible using a the F5 launchpad or any other MSP430 launchpad.

It should work with any eZ-FET Lite based LP

Im sorry I do not know what lauchpads have the ez-FET lite based LP. How do I figure that out ? Would my MSP430 value line launchpad program this too?

eZ-FET Lite have MSP430F5528 on board, and probably "eZ-FET Lite" is written on board FET part.

Officially MSP430F5438 is not supported by MSP430G2 LP, but you can find examples / tutorials on net how to do it.

Thank you Twice! once for giving the answer and secondly introducing me to a different way of programming the chips using linux. I run CCS on linux and its been too heavy and too much sometimes.

I knew about SBW. That is how I programmed my other value line chips. Didn't know the value line could do much more. Thank you TI!
