Hi all,

XDS110-ET exists as a single product?

I want to use the EnergyTrace+ on MSP-TS432PZ100.

In addition, I found the following description.

I think that XDS110-ET is mounted only on MSP-EXP432P401R.

Hello Mino,

The XDS110-ET does not exist as a standalone product, it is an on-board debugger specific to the MSP-EXP432P401R device. You can however still use EnergyTrace with the MSP-TS432PZ100 and MSP-FET tool.

Hello Mino,

I stand corrected, as mentioned in the other thread and confirmed by SLAU575 the only debug probes recommended for MSP432 devices are the XDS100v2, XDS100v3, XDS200, and XDS110. Apologies for the confusion.

That is, can not be used MSP-FET on MSP432 devices?

Hi Mino,

The MSP-FET cannot be used on MSP432 devices. EnergyTrace can be used on the MSP-EXP432P401R as it has an onboard XDS-110ET (XDS-100 EnergyTrace) emulator. Hopefully this explanation clears up any confusion.
