    Is there a "calculator" for that? I haven't heard about it.
    The datasheet gives info about the current consumption of the processor and it's modules.

    This 'spreadsheet' calculation is for a rather simple, single-purpose, fixed-operation state machine.
    You can't provide something similar for a multi-purpose CPU.
    Instead of providing consumption data for every possible supply voltage, CPU speed, power mode and CPU instruction, the MSP datasheets give you a typical current consumption for different standard situations. However, each and every possible program will have a different power footprint. Not to mention the possible external peripherals driven by the MSPs internal peripherals.
