Until recently we have used the msp430 programmer with success. However last week it appeared to have gone bad, as all 3 systems we use it on (2x IAR 5.3, 1X IAR 6.2) failed to program successfully, even though it was in the device manager every time it was plugged in and the drivers were not changed. The two IAR 5.3 machines would not program at all, and the 6.2 machine would program but it was clearly not programming successfully as we have some basic LEDs that light up upon programming completion. OK, it must have gone bad, so we bought another and unfortunately are experiencing exactly the same problems on all 3 systems. The old one was an MSP-FET430UIF (grey with usb in) and the new one is an MSP-FET Flash Emulation tool (black with micro-usb in). Tried before and after updating the firmware on the new one with the same results.
What is going on? We need to get back to development ASAP. Thank you.
