Hi All,

We are using MSP430f2617 Processor in our project.In this project we are going to use the same UART to communicate with 2 different RS 232 Devices .. So do you have device to switch the UART device.

Kindly let me know how to implement the same.

Device you are looking for is multiplexer like SN74CBTLV3257. Obviosuly you need two RS232<->CMOS level translator(s ) such as MAX3232, switching shall be done on CMOS lines.

And make sure the not-used line isn't floating by pulling it up for example.
