MSP430G2553 flash write problems

Hello. I'm currently developing an Android app that commnicates with the launchpad via Bluetooth. They should exchange data so I have to store about 10kB on the flash memory.

The problem is that I have a lot of difficulty doing this from the starting address 0xC000. I get the "No source available for ##" error. But if I start a little bit higher it works.

You should add the picture from within the TI post editor, not paste a link to dropbox. I would help, but I can't see the image because cloud storage is blocked at my corporate firewall.

Are you saying that you are trying to store the *data* at 0xC000? Because that is where your program is stored. You should make sure that you are segmenting your memory properly in your linker .cmd file and referencing the proper addresses when writing the data (including making sure you don't overflow and stomp your code).

Thanks for your answer. I want to store multiple blocks of 6Bytes. It will end up at about 2000 blocks before I back it up on the Android and erase the flash.

I didn't know I was messing with the program location.

Can you suggest a better way of doing that without having problems in the memory?
