Hi,

I am trying to implement the i2c eeprom communication using the application note SLAA208 . The acknowledgement polling given in the source code is not working, If I use the acknowledgement polling data writing to eeprom doesn't write to eeprom, instead if I give a time delay of 4 to 6 ms between writes, it works fine, can somebody help me with correct implementation of acknowledgement polling.

Hi Sivaram,
Are you using a MSP430F169 and 24xx65, or are you using other devices? Section 2.4 of the appnote says the writing time will vary by device, so this may be expected.

Hi Mike,

Exactly for the same reason, I am trying to use acknowledge polling, but I found that the controller hangs forever on the stop condition generation in the acknowledgement polling routine of the example.
