emulator problem

I am using msp430g2553 launchpad

I am getting message like

Error initializing emulator:
No USB FET was found

and in device manager port says it is TUSB3410 device. is my launchpad stopped working? is there any solution or should i buy another?

Do you have CCS or some other development environment installed? CCS includes the launchpad usb drivers required.

When working correctly, the launchpad should show up as both a HID-compliant device (under Human Interface Devices) and MSP430Application UART (under Ports).

i have ccs installed. how to check that there is problem in hardware?

Do you have another piece of hardware to cross check? Or can you check if it enumerates correctly on another PC (from a friend who also has CCS installed)?
